Description

Vitryl tube (food-grade silicone): Single-layer, highly flexible (60 shA), food-grade, transparent silicone tube. Pressure-free passage of food liquids and aqueous solutions including acids and bases.

Technical specifications:

Available internal diameter range: 3 > 20 mm

Temperature resistance: -50 > 200°C

Applications:

Pressureless passage of food liquids and aqueous solutions, including acids and bases.

Hose for food products (food industry, medical (non-invasive equipment, laboratories).

Silicone is a flexible material that can withstand high temperatures. Vitryl can be used up to 200°C (240°C peak) and withstands repeated sterilisation cycles. Vitryl can also be used at low temperatures while retaining its flexibility. It is suitable for food contact. Alcohols of up to 50% vol. can be transported in it Fittings with grooved or olive ends with band, trunnion or lug clamps. Crimping is not recommended. Can be fitted to plain pipe with clamps. Before fitting, make sure that the spigot does not injure the inner tube (particularly in the case of badly deburred, sharp fittings).
